The Tandym Group is Hiring a Cable Technician Near Boardman, OR

A services organization in Oregon is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Cable Technician. In this role, the Cable Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving most complex hardware infrastructure issues.
Responsibilities:
The Cable Technician will:
  • Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies
  • Effectively pass down knowledge of these technologies to junior staff
  • Automate tasks with scripts, when necessary
  • Act as the initial escalation point for junior technicians
  • Assist with small and large projects, as needed
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 6 months of relevant work experience
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Computer and tech svvy
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

  • Vendor and Fiber experience
  • Cable experience (in-home cabling)
